New Year 2026: Open on New Year’s Day, as Always

2026.10.05

In short: a New Year greeting for 2026 from Bar Little Happiness in Hiroshima — open every New Year’s Day, welcoming the familiar faces who come only once a year, as the bar enters its 20th-anniversary year.

Happy New Year 🎍

I imagine many of you went back to work today.

Thank you all for your hard work from day one!

Every year people are surprised, but…

Little Happiness was open all through the New Year holidays.

Every year we hear, “What, you’re open?!” — I wonder why (laughs).

It may be one of the seven wonders of Little Happiness by now.

This New Year’s Day, too, I got to see many “familiar faces” I only meet on this one day each year.

And of course our precious regulars, and some new chance encounters too…!

Among them, a guest who comes once a year casually left the change, saying, “Keep it.”

I was surprised by such generous New Year spirit, and I will treasure the memory.

(If it turns out you “made a mistake because you’d had a few,” please let me know quietly. lol)

“Ah, this year starts here again.”

Being part of the routine of guests who say that is what I am proudest of.

As long as there are people waiting, next year and the year after too —

I started work this year renewing my resolve to keep our doors open on New Year’s Day.

Thank you for your continued support of Little Happiness this year.

In 2026, Little Happiness celebrates its 20th anniversary 🥃

Every encounter is meant to be. Welcome to the world of Rum&Whisky.
