I hadn’t had it for a while, and it was so delicious it gave me a jolt — so I’m posting about it!
A blend of Chichibu peated and unpeated spirits aged 9 years or more, with Scotch aged 20 years or more!

Official tasting notes
[Nose] Leather furniture, pencil, camphor, old-wood woodiness, oregano and paprika spice. Sandalwood incense and gentle smoke. Gradually, vanilla ice cream and apricot candy from deep within.
[Palate] Candied fruit, stewed apple, apricot, pink grapefruit, strawberry milk, doppelbock, barley sugar. Caramel ice cream, olives stuffed with anchovy.
[Finish] Ginger beer and cider, kiwi fruit, citrus peel and banana inner skin. Dark chocolate, Italian parsley, black pepper spice. Very long.
Whoever blended this must be a genius.
Too beautiful a whisky.
